Based in the Bay Area in California, Blake Pierson is an experienced and motivated technical animator with additional experience in 3D modeling, visual effects creation, 2D/3D animation, and game design. Throughout his years at the Academy of Art University, he has developed tools for the Maya art pipeline using Maya's MEL scripting language and Python, created complex humanoid/creature/vehicle rigs, developed material shaders and visual effect systems in both Unity and Unreal Engine, and prototyped multiple games for PC, console, mobile, and virtual reality systems.
